Todor Tilev earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Plovdiv University “Paisiy Hilendarski” in Bulgaria in 1999. Although his academic future looked promising, he chose to follow his passion for fitness and pursue specialized training abroad, turning his hobby into a lifelong profession.
Over the next two decades, Todor completed extensive qualifications in multiple areas of fitness and sports, including Nutrition, Sports Management, Exercise for Special Populations, Sports Nutrition, Personal Training, Sports Injuries, Pool Plant Operations, Strength & Conditioning, and Sports Psychology. His commitment to continuous education led him to achieve more than 100 professional qualifications across five continents and over 20 countries.
During this period, Todor developed a deep interest in swimming. Over the last 25 years, he has specialized intensively in this field, earning more than 100 additional swimming-related qualifications from leading organizations worldwide, including institutions in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, and FINA. He has also participated in numerous international swim clinics with some of the most renowned coaches and athletes in the history of the sport. In addition, Todor has contributed to various international swimming projects, reinforcing his reputation on the global stage.
